The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has requested President Muhammadu Buhari to explain his role over an alleged acquisition of shares worth billions of dollars by his family members.
This is coming in the wake of a statement by Phrank Shaibu, spokesperson for PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, claiming that members of Buhari’s family acquired the shares in Etisalat Nigeria and Keystone Bank.
Speaking with news men in Abuja, PDP national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan urged President Buhari to perish the idea of going ahead with his re-election campaign without clearing this pertinent issue as it directly borders on his integrity, more so an anti-corruption crusader.
